WORKSHOP

Author Interviews Workshop

The goal of this workshop is to help authors show up with confidence and clarity whenever and wherever they’re asked to talk about their books, their process, or their writing life—because “interview” doesn’t just mean sitting across from a journalist. It can happen anywhere: at a festival, a bookstore, a podcast taping, or even in line at the grocery story. Every time someone asks about your book, it’s an opportunity to turn a listener into a reader. And the key to doing that? Storytelling.

This is the author’s superpower. By sharing stories— about your book, your journey, or your creative WHY—you invite others into your world. You spark curiosity. You build connection. You make it easy for someone to say, “I want to read that.”

Discover how to craft compelling stories and perform well in interviews. Each workshop session runs a minimum of 90 minutes. If you choose to include the bonus segment on launching your own podcast, please allow for at least 2 hours, including a ten minute break. The is a hands-on, interactive experience—participants will leave having actively practiced the techniques they’ve learned.

If you’re interested in booking the Author Interviews Workshop for your writing organization, conference, or retreat, please contact Stacey directly for information about pricing and availability. See Contact page or use the button below.

Completely Booked Podcast Interview

Usually, I’m asking the questions and someone else is giving the answers. This time, however, I’m the one being interviewed! Check out my interview with Amanda and Gabby on the Completely Booked podcast. We talk books, podcasts, and finding your passion.
